Two motorists in the Leitrim-Sligo Garda division have been arrested for drug driving.
The local roads policing unit carried out a number of mandatory testing checkpoints in the region over the bank holiday weekend.
The drivers of two vehicles tested positive for an intoxicant and were subsequently arrested.
Meanwhile Gardai in Longford conducted numerous speed checks in Edgeworthstown, Granard and Drumlish.
One driver was found travelling at 107kms per hour in 60kms zone.
