A man and woman are due to appear in court this morning following a drug seizure in Longford last week.
Over €50,000 worth of cannabis was discovered following a search operation conducted as part of Operation Tara during a search of vehicle in the Newtownforbes area on Thursday afternoon.
The occupants of the car, who are in their 30s, were arrested Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. Both were charged and bailed and will appear before Longford District Court today.
