Two Roscommon men have been included in the latest tax defaulters list released by Revenue.
The two, both from the Castlerea area, have been fined over their use of marked mineral oil in the first three months of 2022.
Marked mineral oil, also known as green diesel, is chemically marked and dyed green in order to discourage its use areas such as fueling road vehicles.
Elsayed Ali Eiba of Chapel Street, Elphin has been fined €10,000 following a detection earlier this year.
While James Sweeney of Cloonkeen, Castlerea was fined €2,500 following misuse of the marked mineral oil.
Revenue's Tax Defaulters list for the first quarter of 2022 features 44 court imposed fines worth nearly €90,000 and 9 settlements to the value of 11 and a half million euro.
These include Glendalough Stores, a Louth-based fuel wholesaler was found to owe almost 10 million euro for under-declaration of VAT after an investigation.
