Leitrim and Longford are two of only four counties to avoid a fatal road traffic collision so far this year.
Gardaí have confirmed that 71 people now died on Irish roads so far this year, which is almost a third higher than the same time last year.
Roscommon has seen two fatal road traffic collisions so far in 2024.
