Two women have been charged following a violent incident in Longford town on Wednesday afternoon.
A woman in her 20s was injured after what is believed to have been an attack by two other women which took place inside a clothes shop within Longford shopping centre just after 3pm.
Two women were arrested at the scene and they were questioned overnight in Longford Garda station.

They have subsequently been charged and are due before Longford District Court next Tuesday.
