Two women in their fifties have been taken to hospital following a three car collision on the R198 between Longford and Drumlish this afternoon.
The collision happened shortly before 2 o' clock this afternoon at Cahanagh Cross.
Two women, who were drivers of two of the cars, were taken to hospital with one being transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Dublin.
It's understood there were no injuries in the third car.
The R198 is closed for forensic examination and there's no indication yet as to when it will re-open.
