Uisce Éireann says it has a dedicated contact centre team to deal with all customer related queries, including billing enquiries relating to non-domestic accounts.
In a statement responding to comments from Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice about billing issues with the water utility, Uisce Éireann says it can't comment on specific commercial accounts with anyone other than the registered account holder.
The utility says that if a customer has any queries relating to their account they are advised to call 0818 778 778, or make contact via email on [email protected]
Uisce Éireann says it also has a dedicated team providing support to local representatives and the support desk can also be contacted via email or phone Monday to Friday.
The statement comes after Councillor Fitzmaurice said he had a number of complaints about people who had received bills from Irish Water or Uisce Éireann and said the utility had not been co-operative when he made queries on their behalf.
