Uisce Éireann continues to tackle water outages across Roscommon in the aftermath of Storm Darragh.

In a statement to Shannonside FM News, the utility says that while supply has been restored to many customers on the Arigna, Ballinlough/Granlahan and Castlerea water supplies, several areas are still experiencing problems.

Uisce Éireann is warning that while power has been restored at their Rockingham Spring plant, many customers in the Boyle/Ardcarne area of Roscommon are still seeing supply issues.

Many customers in Elphin, Strokestown, Roosky, Scramoge, Ballyleague, Kilmore, Ballyfeeney, Termonbarry and surrounding areas remain with out water as power has yet to be restored to the local treatment plant.

In areas where supplies have returned, Irish Water are urging the public to conserve water as reservoirs are slow to replenish.

The utility has warned that many people who have yet to see their supply return in areas where plants are pumping again, may have air pockets in their system.
