Uisce Éireann says it is working to repair a burst water main in north Roscommon. The fault occurred in the Kilglass area this morning causing disruptions to surrounding areas. Areas affected included Toberpatrick, Corgowan, Gillstown, Ballymartin, Clooneen, Kilglass and Knockhall.
Crews have been dispatched and Uisce Éireann says every effort is being made to maintain water supply to as many customers as possible. It says works are scheduled to be complete by 4 pm this afternoon with customers advised to allow two to three hours for normal supply to resume. Uisce Éireann has apologised for the inconvenience faced by customers in the area.
