Up to five businesses broken into in northwest Roscommon overnight

Up to five businesses were burgled in northwest Roscommon last night, in a major crime spree.

Commercial premises in Tulsk, Loughglynn and Ballaghaderreen were all broken into between 11 o'clock last night and 6 o'clock this morning.

Gardai, who are still at the scenes, are appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious to contact them.

Ballaghaderreen councillor Micheál Frain says there has been a string of similar incidents recently.
