Up to ten cars damaged in overnight car break-ins in Athlone

Local Gardai are investigating an incident where up to ten car break-ins occurred overnight in Athlone.

The incident occurred in a local housing estate in the Arcadia area of the town.

It’s believed that some items were taken from the vehicles during the widespread theft that happened in the housing development located close to the Arcadia Retail Park.
