The advice for people flying out of Dublin airport in the coming days and weeks has changed.
Passengers have faced lengthy delays through security checks because of a lack of staff with security clearance and the increase in travel following the lifting of Covid 19 restrictions.
The Dublin Airport Authority now says anyone travelling on short haul flights should arrive up to two and a half hours before departure , and three and a half hours for long-haul travel.
Anyone on a short-haul flight that's due to take off after 8.30am shouldn't arrive at the airport any earlier than 6am.
