US President Joe Biden will begin his historic trip to Ireland later.
The president landed in Belfast last night, where he was met by the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
President Biden will undertake a walkabout in Dundalk town centre this evening as part of his historic visit to County Louth.
Mr Biden is also expected to visit Carlingford Castle, a Norman stronghold built in the 12th century.
Large numbers of people are expected in County Louth, and they're advised to be in place for 5.30pm.
Tight security will be in operation and people are being advised not to carry bags of any sort.
