The Director of Public Health in the North West is encouraging members of the public of all ages to get their Covid vaccines.
Vaccine centres remain open across the region to allow all age groups to either get their first or second vaccinations, or to get their booster dose.
Dr Anthony Breslin says there has bene a falloff in people booking their booster does, and people booking appointments to have children aged between 5 and 11 vaccinated.

Dr Breslin says getting vaccinated and boosted is still the only way to avoid the risk of serious illness for people of all ages:
