The walk-in centres were mainly attended by young adults, with close to 30,000 first doses said to have been administered nationwide over the weekend.

The clinics will serve thousands of people over the weekend.

The centres are open to anyone over the age of 16 who is looking to get the first dose of a vaccine.

Parents with concerns or questions are being urged to read up on current NIAC advice

Parents who have questions or concerns over vaccinating their children are being asked to examine National Immunisation Advisory Committee advice.

Members of staff are also required to man each entrance to a premises leading to staffing concerns among many businesses.

It's hoped that July 26th will see people back indoors enjoying meals once again.
