Vast area in Roscommon affected by power and water outages

Power supply issues and water outages have been affecting a number of areas in Roscommon.
The areas impacted are the Boyle/Ardcarne, Arigna, Ballyfarnon, Keadue, Ballinlough/Granlahan, Castlerea and North East Regional Water Supply Schemes.

ESB is working with Uisce Éireann to restore supply in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, water supply is returning to customers supplied by Carrick-on-Shannon Water Treatment Plant.
A normal water supply is expected to return to customers over the next number of hours.
