A new report from Women's Aid is highlighting the rise in both physical and economic abuse of women in Ireland.
The organisation received over 40 thousand disclosures regarding domestic abuse in 2023 - the highest number in its 50 year history.
Physical violence against women rose by 74 per cent compared to the previous year, while economic abuse increased by 87 per cent.
