A video showing a man allegedly confronting illegal dumpers in the Shannonside region has been viewed over thirteen-thousand times this week.
The footage, uploaded to Facebook, allegedly shows a van driving down a rural road, and being stopped by a local man, who accuses the driver and occupants of fly tipping in the area.
The incident is believed to have taken place at a bog in Roscommon, and the footage shows the van reversing up the rural lane after the man confronted the driver, before it stops and the driver and occupants then proceed to put back in a bed and electrical equipment into the van.
