Cavan remains the county with the highest 14 day incidence rate locally with almost 150 new cases of the virus reported in the last two weeks.
On the other end of the scale, Leitrim remains one of the lowest counties nationwide in relation to new cases of coronavirus.
Virus indicators across the region have continued to fall over the last number of weeks, with the number of patients in local hospitals reaching its lowest point in 111 days.
The Cavan - Belturbet local electoral area has recorded the highest rate of Covid transmission in the region with an incidence rate double the national average and 102 new cases in the last two weeks.
Ballymahon LEA in Longford is the next highest locally with a 14 day incidence rate of 219 and 31 new cases recorded locally.
In Roscommon, 35 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the Athlone Municipal District, leaving it with the highest transmission level in the county.
Monaghan is next on the list, with all three LEAs below the national average and 55 cases recorded throughout the county over the last fortnight.
Leitrim continues to have both some of the lowest virus transmission levels and the smallest amount of new cases with less than 18 new cases identified in the last 14 days.
Nationally, Tullamore in county Offaly continues to have the highest incidence rate of Covid-19 in the country.
