Visiting restrictions have been enacted at Sligo University Hospital this week following an outbreak of Covid-19 in the facility.
This is the second outbreak in the last two months that has impacted a number of wards, staff and patients at the hospital.
From tomorrow, there will be no visiting allowed to the hospital, with maternity services and paediatric department exempt in the case of partners, parents and guardians.
According to the hospital, exceptions will be made on compassionate grounds with consultation with nurse managers.
Members of the public with hospital appointments are advised to attend the facility unless advised otherwise by a member of hospital staff.
