Visiting restrictions have been eased at Roscommon University Hospital from today.
Several wards were shut to all but compassionate visits over the last 2 weeks due to an outbreak of Covid-19 at the facility.
Visits to St Bridgets, St Teresa's and St. Coman's Wards must be organised with nursing staff by telephone.

Children are advised not to visit the hospital unless in compassionate circumstances or if advance agreement is reached with the ward manager.
Visitors will also be required to follow public health guidance such as mask wearing and hand hygiene.
