The Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar have imposed visiting restrictions due to a high number of patients with Covid-19. The hospital says visiting on critical and compassionate grounds will continue to be accommodated.
It was also confirmed that maternity services and paediatrics are unaffected by these restrictions currently. Management at the hospital are advising people attending the hospital to wear a face mask whilst visiting.
