Sligo University Hospital has enacted visiting restrictions for the facility following an outbreak of Covid-19 at the hospital last week.
Staff and members of the public were affected by the outbreak, with full separation procedures in place at the facility over the last 7 days.
The hospital is currently facilitating one visitor per inpatient each day between 6pm to 8pm, with visits required to be pre booked.
Areas of the hospital directly affected by the outbreak will not be open to outside visitors at this time.
The hospital has been dealing with severe pressure over the last number of days with both high numbers of Covid and non Covid patients attending the facility.
