The General Manager of Lough Key Forest and Activity Park in Boyle, Co. Roscommon says visitor numbers were up this year.
The popular local tourist attraction drew in almost 46,000 visitors in 2023 with only the Shed Distillery Visitor Experience in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim having registering visitors across the region.
Lough Key Forest Park is set to host a number of events next year including the Night and Day Festival and the return of the Irish Hot Air Ballooning championships to Boyle.
Manager Dermot Beggan says they are already looking forward to what 2025 has to offer:
