Several Vodafone customers are reporting difficulties with their service in and around Longford town this afternoon.
It's understood that customers began experiencing issues just before midday.
Texts and calls are not being carried successfully at present.
Vodafone has confirmed via its Twitter account that it is aware of the situation and they are “doing their best” to resolve the issue.

@VodafoneIreland Vodafone down in Longford and though I can connect to the WiFi, apparently an SMS from revenue can’t come through with a code for me to confirm login details. WhatsApp? Yup Messenger? Yup
