Longford Chamber of Commerce is calling for more volunteers ahead of the town's St. Patrick's Day Parade later this week.
The Chamber is seeking members of the public to help set up, manage crowds and help with the clean up.
Two new viewing areas supporting those with mobility and sensory issues means more volunteers are required for stewarding according to the organisation.
A meeting will take place tomorrow evening at 6pm upstairs at the Market Bar in the town for any members of the public interested in taking part.
Longford Chamber of Commerce President, Fiona Fenlon says the volunteers are the backbone of the entire event.
