Voters are reminded that they don't require a polling card to vote but they must been on the register and have ID with them.

A stamped ballot will be provided by polling officials, containing short instructions on how to vote and details of the referendum proposals.

MEP Maria Walsh says she like many others believe that while the proposal still has major flaws, it couldn't be rejected outright.
