This weekend will see walk in booster vaccine clinics in operation across the Shannonside Northern Sound region.
The number of booster Covid vaccines rolled out across the country has passed one million, with nearly 40 thousand given out nationally yesterday alone.
That's despite long queues at some walk-in centres across the country, leading to some people being turned away.
Walk in Covid Booster centres will be in operation across the region from today until Sunday for those who are at least 5 months on from their 2nd vaccine.
The Longford centre in Newtownforbes is currently open for those between 50 and 69 until 4 o'clock this afternoon, with attendees currently facing a 30 minute wait.
In Monaghan, one walk in clinic at the Glencarn Hotel has just finished with another due to begin at 1.30 and finish at half five.
Boosters will also be available in the Monaghan area on Saturday from 1.30 to 5.30 and on Sunday from 1.30 to 5pm, with the centre closed for an hour at 12.30.
Boosters are also available for 50 to 69 year olds in Roscommon today at the Kilbride vaccination centre from 1.15 to 4.15 and again on Sunday from 9.15 to 3.15 with a break at a quarter past 12.
Those aged between 60 to 69, who received their second dose over five months ago are also invited to the centre on Saturday between 9 and 3 o'clock.
In Leitrim, the Primary care centre in Carrick on Shannon will open from 9 to 12 o'clock tomorrow for those aged between 50 to 69.
While in Cavan, 50 to 59 year olds can get a booster shot tomorrow from 8.30 to 12 o'clock and 2pm to 4pm at the Kilmore Hotel
