A new walk-in Covid test centre is being established in Ballinasloe. Minister of State in the Department of Health and Fianna Fáil TD for Galway East, Anne Rabbitte TD has confirmed that the centre will be established in the Town Hall / Library Carpark this weekend for three days.
The centre will be operated on a walk-in, no appointment necessary basis and it's free for everyone over 16. A total of 63 cases of Covid have been confirmed in the wider Ballinasloe LEA between the 9th and 22nd of March.
The LEA's Covid rate was 224.14 - well above the national average of 158.
