The daughter of an Elphin resident jailed in Iraq is making an urgent plea to the Australian Prime Minister to help release her father.
Robert Pether, who is an Australian citizen was working for an international company on a project in Baghdad when a dispute over costs arose and he was arrested.
Last month, a UN body declared Mr Pether's detention as illegal and have called for his immediate release.
His 9-year-old daughter Nala, took to social media yesterday to ask for help from the Australian Government.
She sent a video to Prime Minister Scott Morrison urging him to intervene in her father's case.
