WATCH: Longford Council Chair stars in video highlighting importance of shopping local

People across the Shannonside Northern Sound region are being advised to shop local as retailers return to business.

Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council Paul Ross presents a new video which is live on the Council website featuring up to 20  businesses in towns across the county.

They say it's important to realise what is on offer in local towns.

Councillor Ross says it keeps in line with staying within county boundaries as is outlined in the latest government advice:
