Water consumption in Longford, Leitrim, and Roscommon increased between 2019 and 2020.
Longford had the highest water usage in the region and the second highest nationally with 419 litres per meter, an increase on 381 litres on the year previous.
Roscommon had an average usage of 410 litres, up from 390 litres in 2019.

Leitrim had one of the lowest average consumptions in the country with 360 litres, but still up from the 2019 figure of 350 litres.
The average amount of water consumed per meter in 2020 was 379 litres.
