Uisce Éireann have confirmed that water restrictions will be in place in South Leitrim tonight to allow reservoir levels to recover after the impact of Storm Darragh.
As reservoirs remain at critically low levels, it will be necessary to implement water conservation measures overnight to allow local reservoirs to recover and maintain daytime supply.
Night time restrictions will be required tonight for the following areas:

- Carrick-on-Shannon area: Hartley, Attirory
- Drumshanbo/Leitrim Village: Drumshanbo town, Leitrim village, Ballinaboy, Mullaghboy/Drumbrand, Lisdrumrea/Lisdrumfarna
- Mohill/Carrigallen: Ohill, Newtowngore, Carrigallen
- Dromod/Drumsna: Dromod, Dromod south, Rooskey
- Ballinamore: all mains supply from the town.
