The finishing touches are being put to the preparations for the Episcopal Ordination of a new bishop for the Diocese of Achonry this weekend.
Fr Paul Dempsey was announced as the new Bishop by Pope Francis in January and was due to be ordained in April.
However due to the pandemic, the ceremony was postponed until this Sunday at The Cathedral of The Annunciation and St Nathy in Ballaghaderreen.
Attendance at the ceremony will be heavily reduced and a live stream will be provided for people who wish to view it online from 3pm.
