Well known businessman to seek European Parliament seat in Midlands Northwest

Former Presidential Candidate Peter Casey has announced his intention to contest a seat in the European Parliament representing the Shannonside region.

The businessman announced his intention to run in the Midlands Northwest constituency last night and will seek a seat as an Independent.

According to his official X account, Peter Casey calls for the removal of all illegal immigrants, 100 percent redress for those affected in the Mica crisis and has expressed a lack of confidence in the current Government.

Peter Casey also ran for Europe in 2019 but was unsuccessful.
