Well known Longford business launches major recruitment drive

A Longford based company has announced a major recruitment drive.

C and D foods, based in Edgeworthstown, has launched a campaign for 100 new jobs at its facility covering Longford and Westmeath.

The announcement follows a €48 million investment in the plant, with the new roles being in engineering, operations, supply chain and quality assurance.

The investment, which is supported by Enterprise Ireland, will result in an extension of the building along with the creation of additional automated multi-packing and pouch filling lines.
