Local Gardaí recently arrested a motorist following a number of traffic offences.
Gardaí in Westmeath stopped the motorist after a call about dangerous driving.
On inspection of the car they found the driver had no insurance, NCT, license or tax.
The motorist subsequently tested positive for cocaine in a road side test and also had a child in the front passenger seat.
Gardaí also found the vehicle to be dangerously defective due to worn tyres, modifications and mechanical faults.
They seized the car and reminded people to think of others whilst on the road.
