Wet cement spillage on N55 near Glasson

Motorists on the N55 between Ballymahon and Athlone are being warned of delays and possible diversions this afternoon following an accident involving wet cement.

A lorry carrying a load of wet cement is understood to have shed its load on the road outside Glasson village.

Gardai are at the scene and some delays are likely as the spillage is cleared.
