A woman has been killed in a dog attack in Co. Limerick. It happened at a house in Ballyneety shortly after half 11 last night. A 23 year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Minister for Rural and Community Development says she's appalled by the news of last night's dog attack and has expressed her sympathy to the family. Heather Humphreys says its important the facts are established but that she's consistently said more action is required in relation to dog control. Minister Humphreys says a stakeholder group is underway to examine the issue.
