Gardai in Athlone are appealing for witnesses following an incident along the greenway on Tuesday evening.
It's understood a woman in her 20's was approached by man while out jogging shortly after 5:15pm.
The incident happened close to Brawny Drive and while the woman received no injuries Gardai say she was left shaken. Anyone who may have been in the area at the time or noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact Athlone Gardai on 090 649 8550.
