Works at a Ballinamore housing estate, which has been at the centre of a long-running stand-off between the bond holders and Leitrim County Council, will not get underway until mid-2022.
Negotiations between both parties around works at the the Dun na Bo estate have been ongoing for almost a decade.
This month's meeting of the Ballinamore M.D. was told that works to the estate will not be undertaken until Leitrim County Council is fully in charge.
Fianna Fail Councillor Caillian Ellis is hopeful that the Local Authority will finally take ownership of the estate next year.
