The National Biodiversity Data Centre and Roscommon County Council Heritage Office are due to host a special event this June.
The workshop will focus on introducing the public to the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Ireland. Participants will look at the features used to identify Ireland's Dragonfly and Damselfly species, how to survey for them, where to find them and helpful suggestions on identification resources The event is scheduled to take place in St John's Community Centre, Lecarrow from 10am to 3pm on Saturday June 15th. A fee for the course applies and bookings can be made via biodiversity Ireland.
