A status yellow wind warning is in place for Donegal, Mayo and Sligo this morning.
Gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour are expected until 9 o'clock tonight.
While a status yellow rainfall alert has just taken effect in 11 counties which lasts until 11pm.

They include Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
And a status yellow wind warning takes effect at midday in Galway, Clare and Kerry until 10 o'clock tonight.
