"Who Shot J.R.?". Everyone knows the song by TR Dallas, which he released in 1980. It became a huge hit in the UK and Ireland. We know that the song was inspired by the famous cliffhanger from the TV show "Dallas," where the character J.R. Ewing was shot. The shooting of J.R. Ewing was a significant pop culture event, leading to widespread speculation and discussions about the identity of the shooter. TR Dallas spoke with Joe Finnegan today to tell Joe how the idea and the recording of the song came about. Listen now to the whole interview.
TR Dallas will be appearing at the Night with the Legends concerts in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan on Monday 19th August and the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Wednesday 21st of August.
