GAA clubs and county boards across the country have been at the forefront of community action and assistance during the last 14 months of the pandemic.
Many see the local club as the centre of rural communities and matches and training's were a major social outlet for many in the region.
The loss of this and the loss of the sport in general during the various lockdown's had a major effect on thousands of people nationwide.
