Longford Town is not accessible to people with disabilities according to a local community activist.
Maria Keatly is the Disability Rep for the Longford Public Participation Network and has highlighted several areas in need of significant attention to make them safe for people with disabilities.
Footpath conditions, curb height and poorly laid out accessibility infrastructure are some of the main issues recorded by the local woman.
