Former Minister and local TD Robert Troy will have a strong presence in the future of politics despite the controversy of the last two weeks.
That's according to fellow Longford/Westmeath Fianna Fail TD Joe Flaherty who says there are more chapters left in Deputy Troy's political life.
The Fianna Fáil TD stepped down as a junior minister last night after two weeks of controversy around his property holdings.
A replacement for Robert Troy will be considered by the Taoiseach in the coming days, questions remain over the portfolio ahead of the expected cabinet shuffle at the end of the year.
Speaking to Let's Talk, Deputy Troy's party and constituency colleague, Joe Flaherty says the past fortnight does not define the former minister.
