The "Longford Live and Local " outdoor music events programme is continuing across the county for the next two months under the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme.
Longford County Coucnil was allocated €143,000 under the scheme and they have devised a programme of 50 different events in towns and villages across the country up until the end of September.
Several events have already taken place and have proved very popular, especially in local nursing homes where residents were treated to some special performances which coincided with the ending of visiting restrictions.
There are still several gigs planned all across the county for the next two months and Shane Crossan joined Anne Norris on the Let's Talk show to talk about the project.
A full list of events and times can be accessed on Longford.ie.
All events are free but tickets are being issued to adhere to Covid regulations.
They can be booked on Eventbrite, accessed at Dennistons in Longford town, or at local shops in the areas where the events are happening.
