The chairman of a local GAA club says the new traffic system in Rooskey is “an accident waiting to happen”.
The village’s historic bridge normally has no specific area for walkers to cross the Shannon.

It has a one-way system for drivers on the bridge, with new traffic lights – but the system has been widely criticised by locals.
