LISTEN: Fr Vincent Sherlock on the positives and negatives of social media

Social media can all too easily lead us astray - and is sometimes used by very angry people.

That's according to Fr Vincent Sherlock, the parish priest of Tubbercurry-Cloonacool, writing in The Irish Catholic.

It comes as Health Minister Stephen Donnelly wants to ban social media for under-16s.

Fr Sherlock is a regular user of Facebook - and says he still believes in social media.

Our reporter Eoghan Murphy met Fr Sherlock, and first asked him about his use of it.
